AN EXPERIENCE LIKE NO OTHER

The Experience

A fully interactive starship bridge simulator, powered by technology and live actors.

Almost anything! You will be given a uniform and be part of a crew. Your ship is a complex organism that will require maintenance, you will meet a variety of characters played by live actors, and your missions will involve an array of challenges.

More specifically, each officer’s station has a different set of tasks to complete. Helm officers fly the ship, engineering officers keep it running, and so on. You can find more information here

Above all, the story is in your hands. You and your fellow players will decide what to do as you explore the galaxy.

Yes. Your mission will have multiple ways of playing out, and your crew will have genuine choice over how to tackle it. The show’s episodic structure also means that when you return for another adventure, you will still be part of the same story you were part of before: what you did will be remembered and have an impact on what happens next.

Yes. In the same way that your story will adapt based on your actions, your role will too. Characters you meet will react differently based on your reputation, and parts of the ship can be upgraded if you choose to do so.

Play your cards right, and you may even earn a medal or patch for your uniform...

Bridge Command is best enjoyed by participating fully, but it is possible to take more of a back seat. For more information about this, please contact us.

No. Although it rewards teamwork, hosts a similar number of people, and has a high degree of interactivity, it is better to think of Bridge Command as a live action starship simulator-immersive theatre show.

Your Visit

Most missions last 75 minutes. The high level of autonomy that you and your fellow players will have means the exact amount of time you spend on your ship can vary.

Wear comfortable shoes! You won't be doing much running, but a starship is a place for sensible footwear.

Uniforms are provided to all players, and can be worn like overalls. For this reason any attire is welcome, although long skirts and dresses that cannot easily be tucked into overalls are not recommended.

Photography and mobile phones are not permitted during a session. After your session is over, we encourage you take as many pictures as you like before you leave the set.

A ship requires a minimum of four crew members to operate. It can accommodate a crew of 9 to 14 people, all of whom will have jobs to do.

If you have fewer than 4 people, we may be able to help by providing extra crew members for you, either as actors or by connecting you with other smaller bookings. Contact us if this is what you require.

Please note that unless you buy all the tickets for a specific slot, you are likely to be playing with other bookers who have purchased tickets for the same slot. You can buy all the tickets for a show, at a discount, by buying the 'Private Show' option available on most time slots.

Yes. The venue has a bar which will be open to you for as long as you like, both before and after your booking.

Our bar has pre-packaged snack food (crisps etc) but we do not serve meals.

We are in Vauxhall, London. You can find us here.

If you have a booking that you can no longer make, tell us more than 48 hours before the time of the booking. If you do, you are entitled to a full refund or to move your booking to a new time free of charge. With less than 48 hours’ notice, we cannot offer a refund but may be able to move your booking free of charge.

Our full booking terms will be sent to you with your ticket.

Please be on time. We cannot guarantee that any latecomers will be admitted. This is due to the way the show is structured and the difficulty of introducing a player late. It may be possible to move your ticket at low or no cost.

Accessibility

Bridge Command can be played by anyone over the age of 16. During school holidays, special performances are available for children aged between 11 and 15.

If you intend to book adults and children into the same group, then you will need to book out a whole slot as we cannot allow different groups with adults and children who do not know each other to mix for child protection reasons.

Guide or assistance dogs are welcome.
